Definitely Not Zoë’s Photography

“No place is boring, if you’ve had a good night’s sleep and have a pocket full of unexposed film.”

Zoë Elena

I am a photographer and amputee whose life changed after surviving a car accident in which my vehicle was struck by an intoxicated driver, taking the lives of two of my closest friends. Photography became the way I found joy again — a way to notice light, emotion, and the small moments that make life meaningful. My work is rooted in resilience, authenticity, and storytelling. I aim to capture images that remind people of the beauty in being alive.
